Torlon® (polyamide-imide)
This amorphous polymer is unique in the way it is injection molded as a thermoplastic and then is post cured at an elevated temperature to induce condensation polymerization which results in a thermoset structure with exceptional high temperature capabilities. Characterized by excellent high temperature strength (432° F), creep resistance and good wear properties.
