Injection Molds
When providing an injection molded component the design and workmanship of the tool is paramount in supplying a quality product. A poorly designed and executed tool will never provide a "good" part regardless of the expertise and quality of the molding process. Allegheny Performance Plastics identified this as a key factor many years ago and took steps to ensure success in this area by controlling the process with our own in house expertise. All tooling design concepts and decisions are controlled by our own engineering team who work intimately with carefully chosen and certified mold shops familiar with our exacting requirements. Every new project goes through an Advanced Quality Planning process utilizing multi-functional teams to ensure all aspects of the project are covered and understood by everybody involved.
