| Allegheny Process Equipment Automated Batch Cleaning and Coating Lines Utilizing state of the art, custom designed equipment, Allegheny Process Equipment can provide turnkey automated batch cleaning and coating lines for wire, rod, tubing, and pipe. Freestanding polypropylene tank are used for hydrochloric, sulfuric, nitric / hydrofluoric, and sulfuric /hydrofluoric acids, at temperature up to 100° C. For improved cleanliness, better acid utilization, and faster cleaning time, Allegheny has developed a vibration system which can be added to our turnkey automated systems or existing automated lines. Allegheny Process Equipment has also made great advancements in spray rinsing, one of which is traversing a spray hoop. The advantage of this system over the stationary spray manifold system is that the traversing spray hoop covers the entire length of the coil with a much more concentrated, high-pressure spray for smut removal. The electrical system design, manufacturing, programming, and testing are all done in-house. We use PC based, random loading software which will resolve conflicts between cleaning cycles based on minimum process time and predetermined station priorities within the program. This system improves the quality of products by minimizing over pickling and also increases productivity by eliminating cycle conflicts and the need to batch the product by lot or heat.
