Spray Systems And Parts Washers
Allegheny Process Equipment revolutionized spray systems and the
parts washers industry by incorporating thermoplastics, specifically polypropylene, in the
spray enclosure and recirculation tanks. Polypropylene has become the material of choice
as processing chemistry becomes more aggressive. Not only has the actual processing
chemistry become more aggressive, but the enclosure and recirculation tank cleaning
solution, used to maintain the interior, has also become more aggressive to the point that
stainless steel spray washers are suffering from corrosion, stress crack corrosion, etc.
The polypropylene spray systems are all custom designed for your specific processing
needs. They can be designed as one complete "drop in" unit, prepiped and
prewired or, if access is limited, they can be installed in a modular fashion.
Solution heating can be accomplished via steam, hot water, gas or electric. Maximum
allowable operating temperatures up to 100oC.
