These tanks are designed to withstand the loads and stresses associated with batch pickling. High impact resistant copolymer polypropylene is used for the construction of batch tanks.
Copolymer polypropylene batch tanks do not require brick lining. There are no steel tank shells to corrode and no rubber linings to maintain. Batch tanks that are loaded with steel bars, tubes, etc. have been in service for over twenty years.
