Allegheny
Process Equipment
Engineering Expertise for Innovation,
Reliability, and Durability
Allegheny Process Equipment's engineers focus on your
industry. Our focus permits the innovations that you desire and expect from an equipment
partner.
Our engineering expertise in plastic structures and wire and parts cleaning equipment
permits us to develop technologies and solutions that serve you.
Allegheny is dedicated to:
- providing the engineering for our innovative products.
- engineering each product rather than "guesstimating" its design.
- providing the right skills to serve your needs.
- utilizing our versatile staff to meet your program requirements.
Allegheny Process Equipment provides the Chemical, Process, Structural,
Mechanical, Electrical, and Professional Engineering for your cleaning equipment.
Allegheny Process Equipment chemical engineers provide the necessary knowledge
that even the chemical companies cannot provide. We combine the best chemicals from each
of the chemical companies to increase your productivity.
Utilizing our structural engineers' experience and knowledge enables us to provide a
complete turnkey factory with ease, foundations included.
 |
The mechanical engineering team with 2D and 3D CAD capability
design reliable equipment that meets your needs. We obtain your approval for the material
handling and process equipment so you know that you will get equipment that meets your
needs. |
Electrical engineers design the panels, determine the power
requirements, and provide the software that permit turnkey automation of the handling and
cleaning equipment. We provide all the typical services that include programming of PLC's
from Siemans, Allen Bradley, Modicon, and Fanuc. Innovation in electrical engineering
ensures that your equipment's high productivity level. For example, we provide a unique PC
based crane control program that lets you program new recipes for your wire coils in
minutes; a significant improvement over the hours or days that PLC based systems require.
| A Professional Engineer reviews every plastic structure to
ensure that it meets the customers' needs. We check for the stress level, deflection, and
corrosion effects using the DVS-2205 Standards for Thermoplastic Equipment. The stress
analysis also accounts for weld efficiency, temperature, industrial loads, and the time
dependent characteristic of plastics. For difficult applications, we provide a finite
element analysis model using Algor®. We provide our designs for your approval
using Autocad® in 2D, and at times 3D. |
